Games

Networking games for the things that reward practice: subnetting against the clock, pictures to name, steps to put in order, parts to label. Your scores stay in this browser.

One, two or five minutes against generated subnetting questions: network and broadcast addresses, host counts, masks, wildcards and VLSM fits. Scored as correct answers per minute, with your last eight runs charted per mode and a printable practice certificate at the end.

Practice without a clock

Somewhere else to start

A timer is the wrong tool when you are still learning the method. Work through Exercises for untimed drills and quizzes that bring back what you missed, or build something in Labs. Come back here when the method is solid and only the speed is missing.

Everything runs in your browser, and your scores are kept on this device only.

Learn the method before you race it

The drill grades against the same maths as the Subnet Calculator. If the clock is beating you, the answer is usually the block-size method in Subnetting, not more repetitions.

Quiz games

Order it, sort it, match it, name it

Put steps in order, sort things into groups, estimate a number, find and label things on a picture, match pairs or flip flashcards. Ten questions a round, every answer explains itself, and your browser remembers where you got to.
