Ping Tool

Send real ICMP echo requests to any host from a probe anywhere in the world, and read the round-trip times and packet loss the probe actually measured.

Real probeA real measurement from the Globalping probe network

Why this one needs a probe

Your browser cannot send an ICMP packet. The sandbox gives JavaScript no raw sockets at all, so no amount of clever code will make a page ping something. Instead this sends your target to the free Globalping probe network, a real machine runs the real command, and you get its unedited output back.

When you’d reach for this

When a host feels slow or unreachable and you want to know whether it answers at all, and from where. Running the same ping from two continents is the quickest way to tell “the server is down” apart from “the path from here is bad.”
